3G-SDI Fiber Optic Extender Overview
The LNK-3GSDI-6FV2BV8GP is a high-performance fibre-optic transmission system that combines
8 Gigabit PoE ports (802.3af/at), 6 forward 3G-SDI channels and 2 backward 3G-SDI channels over
a single fibre. It delivers uncompressed SDI (270 Mbps), HD-SDI (1.485 Gbps) and 3G-SDI (2.97 Gbps)
signals of broadcast-quality, which are immune to electromagnetic interference, ensuring ultra-reliable o
peration. Ideal for HD surveillance and live broadcasting, it extends transmission up to 20 km — far beyond
the capabilities of traditional coax systems. The auto-sensing PoE ports intelligently power compatible
devices and safely connect non-PoE equipment.
